WHAT TYPES OF EVENTS ARE YOUR SPECIALTY?
With over 20yrs of experience in all types of events, Weddings are our passion as a company and make up over 90% of our bookings. However, we also do Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s and other special events that typically require a similar professional approach and excellent attention to detail as a wedding.
CAN WE SEE YOU PERFORM?
Out of respect for the privacy of others, we do not encourage prospective clients to “drop in” on any event. However, our references, online reviews, and the information we provide you in our initial meeting will speak volumes of our experience, style and professionalism.
DO YOU MEET WITH US BEFORE THE EVENT?
Yes. For most events like Weddings, Mitzvahs, Quinceañeras and Sweet 16s You will meet your DJ at the very first meeting and again about 2 weeks before your date to go over final details for your event. (Pronunciation of Names, Order of Events, Song Selection, Timeline, Itinerary, etc…)
CAN I SELECT SONGS I WANT TO HEAR?
Yes, using our online planning system. You'll pick all your special music needed and can also build a request list. Just choose from our online database, OR click “Add Your Own Song” and If we are unable to find them, we will let you know and you will have the option to supply them at the final planning.
CAN WE PLAN THE ORDER OF EVENTS FOR OUR EVENT?
Certainly! It’s All About You!! You will have access to our online planning system to fill out any details and timeline. I wouldn't be doing my job, though, if i didn't advise you as to any popular Format and Traditions, but you make the final call. Together we will put together a great Itinerary or Schedule of Events.
CAN MY GUESTS MAKE REQUESTS? WILL THEY BE PLAYED?
Yes! We provide you a link that you can send to your guests so they can pre-request music. Of course you get to approve or decline them. They can also make requests at the event. We will try to play their requested songs in a timely manner. People love to hear their requests played and it makes for more fun to dance to the music you enjoy!
WHAT IF WE HAVE CERTAIN SONGS WE DON’T WANT PLAYED?
That’s fine. You’ll be able to make a “Do Not Play List” of songs that you prefer not be played. If a guest asks for a song on the list, we will politely explain that you have asked that song to not be played at your event.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DJ GETS SICK, OR IS UNABLE TO BE THERE?
We’ve never been late to an event, or had to cancel one ("knock on wood" lol). However, We are prepared with a network of back-up DJ’s in case of an unfortunate event. You will meet with that DJ before we make the change just to be sure you are comfortable. We will handle everything so you won’t have to worry!
DO YOU BRING BACKUP?
Yes. As the saying goes hope for the best, plan for the worst. We want to be proactive and anticipate any issues that may arise. For that reason we bring multiple backups and have a backup plan to minimize down time if any.
